I was raised and live in St. Clair Township near Becher where I currently operate a field crop farm on Charlemont Line.
I have a Bachelor of Science (Agr) in Agricultural Economics from the University of Guelph, and upgraded from there to get my membership as a Certified General Accountant / Certified Public Accountant (eighteen years public experience).
I have been the President and Chair for the Lambton Federation of Agriculture since January 2020, a director since November 2015, and have been on the Ontario Federation of Agriculture Policy Advisory Council since January 2017.
During the 2022 Winter term I wrote (and have taught since) Introduction to Canadian Agricultural Law at Lambton College and I learned a great deal about land use planning and the intersection of Municipal Politics with Provincial and Federal Politics.
Normal Farm Practices are considered proper and accepted customs and standards followed by similar agricultural operations under similar
circumstances.
